OCEA Scholarships

Cooperative Education (Co-op) is an educational program combining classroom study with career related work experience. Co-op students combine classes with a series of planned, supervised, and paid periods of employment at a work site approved by their colleges or universities.

The Ohio Cooperative Education Association (OCEA) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting and strengthening cooperative education throughout the State of Ohio. Its members include faculty and staff from high education institutions and hiring managers and university recruiters from businesses which participate in cooperative education.

Each year, the Ohio Cooperative Education Association (OCEA) awards scholarships in the amount of $500-$1000 to:

  1. High school students who have completed activities to explore potential college majors and internships/co-ops [two $500 scholarships are available]
  2. Students enrolled at two-year colleges participating in internships or co-op or programs (associate's degree) [two $750 scholarships are available]
  3. Students enrolled at 4-year institutions participating in internships or co-op programs (bachelor's degree) [two $1000 scholarships are available]
